  1. Semi-Automatic Pasteurizer

The main body of the equipment is made of high-quality stainless steel. The sterilization time can be adjusted from 5 to 40 minutes, and the sterilization temperature can be set between 50 and 99 degrees Celsius with an automatic temperature control device. The sterilization tank is equipped with insulation facilities and a temperature compensation control device, effectively ensuring the uniformity of the water temperature in the tank and guaranteeing the sterilization effect.

  1. High-Pressure Sterilization Retort

The sterilization retort is mainly used for high-temperature sterilization of food, heating food sealed in containers. Many different sterilization retort systems can be used for foods that require commercial sterilization in sealed containers. Sterilization retort systems share some common features:

  • The system is pressurized, allowing it to achieve temperatures significantly higher than boiling water.
  • The system uses a medium (referred to as the heating medium or sterilization medium) to transfer heat to the product. Media used in the retort include pure steam, hot water (containers fully immersed in water, water spraying, or water cascading), and steam/air mixtures.
  • Some systems use overpressure during sterilization and cooling to maintain container integrity and balance the pressure in the retort. This is necessary because some packaging containers have limited tolerance for internal pressure. Examples of containers sterilized with overpressure include semi-rigid plastic containers, flexible pouches, metal trays, cardboard containers, and glass jars with heat-sealed or double-metal-sealed lids. The term “overpressure” refers to the pressure applied to the sterilizer that exceeds the pressure exerted by the heating medium at a given temperature. In a steam sterilizer, the pressure at 250°F is approximately 15 psig. Any pressure applied to the sterilizer beyond 15 psig is called overpressure. Sterilization systems that provide overpressure, such as 25-35 psig, can operate at higher temperatures.
